Never too old for stickers… Spacecraft Stickersheet Release Party

More good times with the Spacecraft crew ensued this last Saturday (9/27/08) here at evo! we just want to say thanks to everyone who came down to partake and to everyone who’s blood, sweat, tears, heart and soul have gone into any number of involved parties because this was a killer event - it felt like a big family gathering!
I think this would make this our 3rd year celebrating the release of Spacecraft’s coveted Stickersheets. For the uninformed, the stickersheets are a collection of stickers on, yes, a large sheet. They feature photos and artwork from Spacecraft’s athletes and design collaborators. They’re available at select locations throughout the year, but for some lucky Seattleites they’re pre-released and unveiled to the public for the first time at this party.
This year’s party was like previous years in that old friends came out of the woodwork, but aside from lots of high fives, old stories and hugs we had Patrick Lennox Wright on site with his photo booth, sportin’ a custom Spacecraft/Obama backdrop. Frequency’s Matt Wibby was mobbin around handing out copies of their latest release…hard bound, what? Pyramid rolled in some kegs to keep the party goers hydrated, and DJ Masa (as heard on KEXP) was setting the mood all evening long with some sweet music. Ryan from spacecraft was kind enough to bring down the screen printing machine and was hand pulling Spacecraft posters which were for sale as well as a handful of other limited Spacecraft prints… including my favorite - the Obama in the Spacecraft bunny suit. Check out the Photobooth pics here!
All righty folks…don’t grow up, keep collecting stickersheets and make sure to come in to check out the fall line of Spacecraft clothing!
