New Guy

Whats up evo followers! I’m Nick Jones, and just signed on to be evo’s first wake team rider. I’ve known and been stoked on evo for awhile now, and am excited to be working with them. I grew up in the Northwest and will always call it home. I started out in snowboarding when I was super young. All the way through middle school and beginning of highschool I lived to ride the mountains around Seattle in the winter and Hood in the summer. Unfortunately, in 11th grade I scorpioned pretty bad on a landing and messed my head up a bit. My docs told me i shouldn’t ride anymore, definitely the worst news ever. A couple summers before that I’d tried wakeboarding, and was all about it, just never had time.
Now I had all the time in the world, so started wakeboarding, and fell in love with it.  With snowboarding out of the pic, wakeboarding took over, and before I knew it I was down in Florida riding every other month. Wakeboaridng felt more like snowboarding than anything else, so I tried to take a snow approach to the water. Once highschool was over, I moved to Orlando so I could wakeboard for a living,  and have lived down here since. Currently I ride for CWB board co, Malibu Boats, Bakes Marine, Cobian Sandals, and now evo.  So that’s pretty much what’s up with me. From now on my posts will consists of my travels around the world trying to spread the stoke on wakeboarding.
