evoTrip | Day 5 - More POW and a Nabe feast!

Today we ended up making our way back to Cortina to get some tree lines on the backside… you know how sick we said it was yesterday? Well it was DEEPER and dryer today, so good.
The guys spent some good time with our pro photographer Bryn getting some shots in the trees… while they were shooting the rest of the crew lapped the backside and everybody kind of swapped out throughout the day. It was incredible. I really can’t conjure the words to describe today… it was definitely one of my best days ever.
Towards the end of the day the guys started lapping the forbidden trees on the front side…. actually got about 8 laps before getting tracked down by patrol. I think it was on the last run when patrol finally noticed… when the lifty tried to stop them, everyone handed over the tickets and cruised to the lodge and finished the day off with vending machine beers.
We rallied back to the lodge and rested before the Morino Lodge crew prepared this incredible Nabe dinner. No real big night out, just some good eats and time to prep for Tokyo then Bali!
