SOS | Sensory Overload: SNOW

I think I speak for everyone here when I say this… I was starting to get pretty tired of coming into the office each morning under clear blue skies to read the latest blog post about our esteemed colleagues’ extended shredfest in Japan. It’s not that I was jealous… Wait, yes. That’ what it was.

Baker. March 15th. So sick right now. (Photo: Mt. Baker)
Luckily something big happened. With the sudden unforseen force of the current economic crisis, a storm as ravenous as AIG execs descended on the Cascades. Bad financial comparisons aside, it has been epic out there. It was coming down so hard on Sunday that you got fresh tracks every run. And it hasn’t stopped snowing yet.
We can’t show you photos of faceshots and whiteouts just yet. We don’t want to make you jealous. But if you have a job and want to playfully make yourself more miserable, check the local webcams. Otherwise, get up to the mountain. Hurry.
PS/ To top off the good news, Taylor, one of our interns, brought in Guiness for the entire office today and is currently cleaning the whiteboard with acetate, so I may be high and drunk in a few hours time. I knew we hired creative writers for a reason! Also, the crazy guy on the street nextdoor is not wearing a dress today, so that’s good too.
