Get Snowed In at Pyramid Breweries’ Notorious Snow Cap Party
12th Annual Event Welcomes Return of Snow Cap Ale
and Benefits the Surfrider Foundation’s Snowrider Project
What:
NW institution Pyramid Breweries returns with its infamous annual Snow Cap party. The
party is in celebration of Seattle’s favorite winter seasonal, Pyramid Snow Cap Ale, as
well as the return of the cold and snow to the mountains. 2009 marks the 12th year for
this festive event that has become a favorite for winter enthusiasts. The party is put on
with support of several sponsors including evo, SnoCon, Sturtevants, Summit at
Snoqualmie, Crystal Mountain, KEXP 90.3, and The Stranger.

Entertainment: Party goers will enjoy plenty of brewery fresh Snow Cap Ale, alongside live music by
opener Rocky Votolato followed by headlining band Minus the Bear. The event will also
feature interactive elements including a Snow Cap photo booth, Rage Film’s Pretty
Good ski movie projected on the tent walls, and over $4000 in raffle prizes including lift
tickets, ski gear, snowboards and more.
