evo Store | MSP is comin’ to town Oct 1st

The date is set for the Seattle stop of Matchstick Productions’ latest film In Deep. Thursday night, Oct 1st Matchstick will bring the last winter’s highlights to the screen of the King Kat Theater. Doors will open at 7 and the movie is to begin at 8. Tickets will be available at evo beginning in August for $15. Keep checking back for updates and chances to win tickets. “He’s a ski shop owner and he can ski.” -Grant Gunderson

That was Grant Gunderson commenting on back flipping cliff dropper Bryce Phillips and the shot is from Grant’s collection on ESPN Action Sports. Grant has spent tons of hours shooting Bryce and friends and amassed quite an impressive portfolio.  He was named one of the Top 50 action sports photographers by Red Bull in 2007.  Grant’s got an amazing website with all of his pictures ready to go, just scroll over the number and bam! evo’s “Hired Hands” employee gallery opening!

Friday, July 3, 2009 - What a crazy night….evo was ransacked by zombies, summer dresses and creations contributed by evo employees adorned the walls of the Timesinfinity Art Gallery.  It was an incredible thing to see everyone’s hard work and heart hanging there.  10 employees from across the company either created new installations or brought some of the best from their collections to share with everyone.

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON –Hunter and his art were welcomed with open arms after a long haul from San Francisco late last Wed night. With lots to get done over the next few days, we quickly unloaded his twin brother’s truck and decided to make a plan over some substance. evoFest II event | Recap and Photos

All eyes on the dancing.

“Dude, Bob Dylan’s collar? It’s popcorn.”
I nodded at Rachel and glanced over at Sam Kirk’s portrait of Bob Dylan as if I understood what she was talking about. In reality, I was snickering. Rachel was clearly drunk. When she left the room and I took a closer look, though, I felt sheepishly intoxicated (and sheep who’ve had a sip of beer are even less intelligent than sober sheep). The left side of Dylan’s off-white collar had the depth and texture that can only be achieved with a closeup photograph of popcorn.
