October, 30, 2009 Seattle, Washington - Halloween kicked off early in Fremont as Ride Snowboards brought down the freak show, ahem, i mean “Tweak Show” to evo for a night of terror! It was such a sick event, everyone dressed up and the films were incredible. Lets see, we had Ride’s team film “Along for the Ride”, Pirate Productions and Videograss’s latest film. Despite the incredible line up of films, people seemed to be preoccupied by the array of crazy costumes, the photobooth, games (Wheel of Death, Skull Toss, Membrain) and the Ride pro team was in the house signing autographs. Mikey Leblanc, Hana Beaman, Jusso Lavisto, Darrell Mathes Austin Hironaka, Megan Ginter, Nash, Marco, Cory Noble and the whole ride crew were present and accounted for.
Here are a couple shots from the night but check out the full Flickr Photobooth Album and the full Flickr Album from the Party.

Saturday October 24, 1982 TGR landed in Seattle with their crew and the “Re:sessions” tour. Easily one of the most anticipated films this fall, and it was obvious when we sold out of tickets early the week before the show!

People started arriving as early as 630p to try and purchase last minute tickets at the door and the line was wrapped around the corner over an hour before doors opened.

The King Cat showing TGR movie goers a good time.

Dash Longe getting welcomed to the party by Stevens Pass’s Brian and Nate “Mario” Escalona.

Dillon Hood in the house!

Thanks to everyone who came out!!! Don’t forget that you can get your TGR merch at evo in Seattle! Come by to validate your Stevens Pass voucher and pick up a tee and one of the badass neon TGR die cut stickers!

Last Wednesday evening, evo and group Y hosted a gathering and discussion focused on sustainability and what it means to all of us in the realm of action sports. We had an expert line up of speakers; pro-snowboarder and co-mastermind of Holden outerwear Mikey LeBlanc, former CEO of REI Dennis Madsen, and Stevens Pass Marketing Director Chris Rudolph.
These guys kicked down some serious knowledge and insight and the audience asked some great questions. However, we know that not everyone got the chance to be heard, whether they were in the audience at evo or out there on the interwebs.
So… we’d love to not only continue the conversation and give you a chance to chime in, but also reward one lucky question asker as well!
We’ll be taking questions from you via email and twitter, and kicking back out the answers from Mikey, Dennis and Chris late next week. We’ll award the most creative/inspiring/thought-provoking question with a very cool limited edition skate deck, courtesy of our friends and group Y event sponsors FUEL TV.

So, fire off your questions to us via email, or via twitter to @groupY.
We’ll post the questions and answers on the blog next week and announce the winner!
Word.
