Today was our Hyperlite on water demo out on Lake Washington…. it was a bit overcast but our expectations were exceeded ten fold easily! The water was super warm and no one was out. Check out the boards that we demo’d and enjoy some shots from our two sessions:
June 10, 2009 - 7am our wake buyer Gorio and the sales staff met at evo to head out to Nick Jobe’s place on Lake Sammamish where the crew would be testing out Ronix wakeboards and bindings before heading into the shop for the day…. Ronix products, busted ear drums, big air, great weather…awesome way to start the day!!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made it for making this a really fun event! Thanks to Nick for all your help and keeping things fun and big ups to the Bow Lake crew, CWB, and Jet Pilot for keeping things running smoothly. You guys are awesome. Hope everyone had a great time and we’ll see you next year!

WIT Productions put on a killer show on April 17th with the premiere of their newest wakeboarding video “Hi-Light”. It was a full house of people who all had at least 2 things in common: a love for wakeboarding and a desire to chill with friends at evo. With a huge screen suspended from the ceiling, music bumpin and drinks to go round, it was definitely a night to remember.
Start your season off right! Bow Lake is the premier wakeboarding spot in the greater Seattle area and evo team rider Nick Jones lives to wakeboard. Putting these two together means wakeboarding magic. This clinic has something for everyone, from newbies just learning to ride to experienced riders looking to progress. It’s sponsered by evo, CWB, Bow Lake, and Jetpilot. BBQ is included! Private lake, hanging with pro riders, good friends, great weather, free BBQ. It really doesn’t get any better than this… What: Wakeboard Clinic Where: Bow Lake, WA (South of Bellingham) When: May 1st Start: 3pm till dark Cost(s): $120 per person Call: 206.396.3616
Our content team just launched several “Expert Advice” wakeboarding articles. This content will be peppered throughout the wakeboard shop, on shopping pages, in the wake outlet, in our help center, on product pages, and in search results pages (to name a few).
The articles are thorough, comprehensive, and altogether delicious. Learn what about no stretch ropes, USCG Life Vests, and more. The full list:
Our hope is that this content will support customers as they shop for wake gear. The guides were written by our professional writer (ahem, Kate), reviewed by expert riders, “thumbs-upped” by industry partners, and given final edits from a skilled copy editor (Sunny).
WIT Productions presents: Hi-Light, wakeboard video filmed, edited, and produced by Spencer Norris. Premieres at evo in Seattle on April 17th, doors open at 8:00pm. $5 cover charge. Sponsored by NWR, Samson, and CWB.
For those of you who’ve been enjoying Spring out on the lake rather than out in the snow…
I had the guys from Wakeboarding Mag out to do a little shooting. As part of our morning ride, we decided to throw together a backside 180 instructional. Check it out, hope you learn something. I am stoked on the video.
So now that the competitive season’s pretty much done, everyone’s in a bum rush to get their video sections/photo shoots out of the way before the water starts to get cold and the wetsuits have to be brought out. The last couple weeks I’ve been filming quite a bit with Spencer Norris, a videoographer from the Northwest who moved to Orlando to capture his riders full time. I was in his video last year also, but with his move and ever changing outlook on his movies, I’m soo stoked for the new one to come out in spring. I’ll keep everyone posted with updates and teasers, and on the premier that’ll be in Seattle. In addition to that, I’ve been shooting for a couple of the mags and an online site a friend of mine put together. If I can figure it out, there should be a video of my roommates and I attached to this post - I’ll be the blonde guy. Was a pretty gnarly day out when they shot, but the guys at thewakeplace.com made it turn out alright.
