Mark your calendars! Thursday night, Oct 1st Matchstick will bring the last winter’s highlights to the screen of the King Kat Theater. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the movie is to begin at 8. evo will be hosting a kick off party for all the attendees of this years P.C.C.C. to raise awareness and provide insight into the amazing journey the group is about to embark on. We invite you and all your friends, snow sport enthusiasts or not, to join us for a beer in celebration of 3 amazing individuals and the crew riding their bikes from Seattle to San Diego raising money and awareness for their funds. On the 17th, Seattle Greendrinks together with Lazy River Winery (a personal favorite) and Theo Chocolates hosted a casual event in the evo art gallery, TimesInfinity, with the band Slow Skate providing music. Gabriel and Nur from Seattle Greendrinks pulled together a fantastic marriage of quality chocolate, wine, art, music and people. For all of you (i.e., all of us) with an interest in sustainability, climate change and renewable energy, Greendrinks (http://tinyurl.com/5jcxa6) is a great way to get your foot in the door and figure out what you can do to get involved.

The date is set for the Seattle stop of Matchstick Productions’ latest film In Deep. Thursday night, Oct 1st Matchstick will bring the last winter’s highlights to the screen of the King Kat Theater. Join us for the 21st annual celebration of life and art! The world famous Fremont Solstice Parade starts at N 36th and Leary Way, then winds through downtown Fremont to a picnic and beer garden in Gas Works Park.
Watch the Solstice Parade and maybe catch the painted, naked Solstice Cyclists from right out in front of evo! We will have some Solstice Day sales and specials, activities and our friends at Vitamin Water will be handing out drinks!
