Join us for the 21st annual celebration of life and art! The world famous Fremont Solstice Parade starts at N 36th and Leary Way, then winds through downtown Fremont to a picnic and beer garden in Gas Works Park.
Watch the Solstice Parade and maybe catch the painted, naked Solstice Cyclists from right out in front of evo! We will have some Solstice Day sales and specials, activities and our friends at Vitamin Water will be handing out drinks!

There are a couple solid shows coming up. Grayskul will be playing at the High Dive on Thursday 5/28. It’s rad seeing these dudes at a small venue like this. If you haven’t heard of these cats I recommend you get acquainted with their myspace page and read up on them.

Drop in cause it’s hot. evoFest II bursts onto the scene again this weekend in Fremont! With beats pumping, b-boys battling, canvases morphing, drinks flowing and a good crowd buzzing, this event will not disappoint. We’re bringing you live action all night and we’re especially excited for a night with the Fraggle Rock Crew, an indisputable part of the evo family from the beginning.

“Dude, Bob Dylan’s collar? It’s popcorn.”
I nodded at Rachel and glanced over at Sam Kirk’s portrait of Bob Dylan as if I understood what she was talking about. In reality, I was snickering. Rachel was clearly drunk. When she left the room and I took a closer look, though, I felt sheepishly intoxicated (and sheep who’ve had a sip of beer are even less intelligent than sober sheep). The left side of Dylan’s off-white collar had the depth and texture that can only be achieved with a closeup photograph of popcorn.

The time is almost upon us again. A glorious time of the year, where the flowers start to bloom, the sun invites us outdoors and we all finally get the chance to grow a mustache without fear or shame. Yes, I AM talking about ‘Mustache May,’ and yes, evo employees will be considered a disgrace to men-kind if they do not participate just because their girlfriend/wife/significant other can’t bear the sight of them.
