Hey, how about instead of worrying about what you’re going to be for Halloween — you were a creepy, mustached gym teacher last year anyway — you come to evo to watch something awesome? And no, it’s not Bryce doing a backflip off the balcony.
New Intelligent Group is showing their film “The Motherland” tomorrow night here at evo. Featuring locals Derek Spong, Kohl Schoening and Anders Fornelius, a ton of the movie was filmed at Stevens Pass, the mountain many of us call home, and even highlights the East coast (the place fewer of us call home…).
Stevens will also be showing their film “Meet Me in the Mountains”. Wow. I want to go skiing.
Watching a Matchstick movie will make just about anyone want to become a pro skier.
You don’t need to know what it feels like to cram your feet in ski boots and step into your bindings to see that besides being incredibly atheltic and adventure driven, there is always a touch of Hollywood to any of MSPs featured skiers. Just watch Claim.
Come watch the greatest ski movie ever. It will make you better.
It’s Wednesday October 1st at McCaw Hall in Seattle Center. Presale tix available at evo for $15.
Possible attendees include Ingrid Backstrom, Hugo Harrison, Sean Petit, Mark Abma, James Hiem, Eric Hjorliefson, and Rory Bushfield. And CR Johnson is in the film. (That should be incentive enough… for some of us.)
How stoked will you be? Bonfire + leafblower = Stoked!
The night of the highly anticipated follow up to “The Waiting Game” featuring evo owner Bryce Phillips was yet another night of good times under the roof of 122 nw 36th st! we just want to say thanks to everyone who came out to support the film and don’t forget to come by evo to get your copy!!!
