October 8, 2009- The B Movie blasted it’s high fueled film into the Seattle Center for a special IMAX showing. The lines were long and also a great sign that this was going to be a huge hit. Both showings were packed full of eager eyes awaiting a giant screen full of snowboarding smut at its finest. Stowed away in the audience were a slew of local pro’s, die hard’s and every other snowboard junkie the NW had to offer.
September 25th 2009—King Cat Theater. Thank Thank’s Cool Story movie Premier helped everyone sadly say goodbye to summer, and embrace fall by getting everyone excited for the winter ahead! King Cat Theater started filling up Friday evening with people grabbing a drink, catching up with old friends, making new friends and getting excited about the features of the evening.
September 23, 2009- It’s safe to say that the premier was one of a kind for sure! An outdoor venue in Seattle (?!?!?) in the parking lot of Havana’s was a definite first for the crowd. On top of that it was an amazing/perfect day and night to feature Videograss and The Airblaster Movie.
Thursday, September 17, 2009 – The boys at Absinthe came to town with two goals in mind: to create some good ol’ snowboard stoke amidst the lingering summer swelter, and to raise awareness and support for environmental non-profits targeted at preventing global climate change. Friday, August 28, 2009 – The world premiere of Standard Films’ snowboard film, “Black Winter”, played at the King Cat Theater in Seattle in front of hundreds and the film lived up to the hype and then some. The theater was near capacity from the get go when doors opened at 7:00 p.m. and heads got nice and loose at the bar before the film started around 9:00 p.m. There was an electric buzz in the air in anticipation of not only the film, but the upcoming season and it made for one raucous night.
