Free Lift Ticket and Lesson with purchase of select Burton boards! Burton Snowboards is pleased to announce GO SNOWBOARDING, a collaborative effort with select North American partner resorts designed to introduce people to snowboarding. With the purchase of select Burton snowboards you can obtain a FREE lesson and lift ticket package. Better yet, the lesson and lift ticket package is FULLY TRANSFERABLE, so if you’re simply too rad for free stuff, then do us all a favor and hook a friend or family member up.
Locally both the Summit at Snoqualmie and Timberline Lodge @ Mt. Hood are participating resorts… if you’re going to buy a board, why not get a free lesson and a ticket!?
Some things to remember:
1. This is for a first time/beginner lesson only. Some resorts utilize a beginner area lift ticket for this program.
2. Your LTR lesson and lift ticket package is fully transferable, so if you already know how to ride, give your GO SNOWBOARDING voucher to a friend or family member.
3. Blackout dates and age restrictions vary, so double check with the resort you want to visit ahead of time.
4. Once you’ve decided when and where you want to ride call to check on restrictions right away. You have to call the resort at least 48 hours ahead of time so that they can plan for your arrival.

Mamafest is a really sweet event that evo sponsored this year. If you aren’t already hip to it, Mamafest is an organization that helps raise awareness and money for breast cancer on the slopes. Boobs and snow… what could be better. Mamafest has been putting on ski/snowboard/music fundraisers for breast cancer research since 2000… They are kind of a big deal.

The event was on Saturday and it was freaking rad. It snowed pretty much the entire day, there were some quality people there, great music and prizes and, of course, boobs.
