So now that the competitive season’s pretty much done, everyone’s in a bum rush to get their video sections/photo shoots out of the way before the water starts to get cold and the wetsuits have to be brought out. The last couple weeks I’ve been filming quite a bit with Spencer Norris, a videoographer from the Northwest who moved to Orlando to capture his riders full time. I was in his video last year also, but with his move and ever changing outlook on his movies, I’m soo stoked for the new one to come out in spring. I’ll keep everyone posted with updates and teasers, and on the premier that’ll be in Seattle. In addition to that, I’ve been shooting for a couple of the mags and an online site a friend of mine put together. If I can figure it out, there should be a video of my roommates and I attached to this post - I’ll be the blonde guy. Was a pretty gnarly day out when they shot, but the guys at thewakeplace.com made it turn out alright.
Check it, hope you like it.

All the way through middle school and beginning of highschool I lived to ride the mountains around Seattle in the winter and Hood in the summer. Unfortunately, in 11th grade I scorpioned pretty bad on a landing and messed my head up a bit. My docs told me i shouldn’t ride anymore, definitely the worst news ever. A couple summers before that I’d tried wakeboarding, and was all about it, just never had time. Read the rest of this entry »
